La principal ventaja de plantar con una máquina arrastrada es, además del reparto del peso, la posibilidad de combinar la plantadora acon otras máquinas de trabajo del suelo, tales como la fresadora GE-Force C especialmente desarrollada por AVR, la GE-Force AVR ordinaria u otras marcas.
Su tractor también necesita menos potencia de elevación.
AVR Ceres 450
La Ceres 450 es una plantadora arrastrada con una capacidad de tolva de hasta 3 500 kg (4 x 75 cm) ó 4 000 kg (4 x 90 cm). Cada cuerpo de plantación puede ser desconectado manualmente (ó eléctricamente en opción).
Las ruedas directrices tienen una ancha amplitud de 30° (+15°, -15°). Gracias a la concepción ingeniosa del mmecanismo, el eje de giro se mantiene vertical y todas las ruedas permanecen en contacto con el suelo.
Opción Culti Control
La funcionalidad Culti Control se advierte muy práctica. Gracias a ésta opción, la GE-Force C mantiene una profundidad constante de fresado. El usuario evita de esta forma de tener que fresar dos veces. La profundidad de plantación está siempre regulada independientemente.
Costados rectos ó curvos en el momento del acaballonado
Para formar un caballón ideal, la elección y los ajustes del conformador son esenciales. Es por lo que la versión 4x75 puede estar equipada con el conformador de cabeza pequeña y costados curvos ó del conformador de cabeza ancha (placas de desgaste Borium 27 con revestimiento especial) con costados rectos . La versión 4 x 90 dispone de un conformador de cabeza ancha (igualmente placas de desgaste Borium 27) y de costados rectos.
El conformador está controlado de serie por un regulador de presión automático. Un acumulador en el circuito hidráulico garantiza una presión constante sobre el conformador. El usuario puede, por otro lado, optar por el célebre sistema PDC (Proportionally Distance Control), que permite, con la ayuda de dos sensores de ultrasonidos, medir el volumen de tierra contenido en el conformador. En base a esas mediciones la presión sobre el conformador se rectifica para mantener un acaballonado regular.
